What is the Berlin Photographic Society?
Berlin Photographic Society (BPS) is a company founded to explore visual culture in Berlin. Inaugurated by film-maker & photographer Stuart Acker Holt and writer & photographer Paul Sullivan, the society aims to provide an umbrella for Berlin-based photographers and build a database of urban-themed imagery for both creative and commercial use.
The BPS leads tours and workshops that explore the technical and aesthetic aspects of photography while engaging with the city in interesting ways. Themed excursions cater for a range of interests and technical levels, ranging from Slow Photography walks and Bicycle rides to tips on how to photograph people and buildings.
Workshops are available in basic DSLR photography and compositional techniques and bespoke versions of all services can be arranged. Please send a mail to paul@paul-sullivan.com for more information.
